I was stoked when I saw the old cassic Ultimate Fighting Championship events were being released on DVD. I remember first discovering the UFC in the early 1990's on VHS at a local Blockbuster Video store and renting it, taking it home and watching it with my dad. I've been hooked on MMA and the UFC ever since. A couple of years ago, I wanted to rent some of the old UFC shows just for old times sake, and I went to Blockbuster and realized they didn't have them. When I asked the dude that worked there, he said "man, i think those were on VHS, and we don't carry VHS anymore." He was right, I had forgotten all about them being so old they were on VHS and weren't released on DVD yet.

I recently happened to be browsing the Blockbuster "Special Interest" section and realized the UFC had released their old events on DVD! That's awesome. With the progression and evolution of MMA in recent years, it's very interesting to go back and re-watch the pioneers of the sport. If you don't want to buy a one, you can easily rent the UFC DVD's online at Netflix.com

Witness classic battles featuring fighters such as Chuck Liddell, Ken Shamrock, Tito Ortiz, Royce Gracie, Tank Abbott, Don Frye, Rich Franklin and other exciting fighters such as Harold Howard and Keith Hackney, as well as the talented fighters such as Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez and Kenny Florian that emerged from The Ultimate Fighter reality competition show on Spike TV.

I will also be adding "event" pages to this site, where I will give my personal opinions and reviews of the Ultimate Fighting Championship events from their humble beginnings in 1993 to the wild success being enjoyed by the entire sport of MMA in the 21st century.
